The Planning Process
Let’s get to know each other! My favorite step in working with clients is learning about their preferred travel style. In our initial conversation, I get to know you and what your dreams are for your trip. I will ask you about how you like to travel and the type of experiences that you enjoy. What your favorite hotels or resorts are and what your ideal type of vacation is. This allows me to help you in planning a trip that everyone will enjoy. During this time, I will also learn of any special needs travelers in your group may have, what your budget range for the trip is, and any other considerations. This is a crucial step, as building the ideal trip takes true advisor-client collaboration. Finally, I will share with you how I work. If we both feel like we are a good match and once you are sure we are compatible your planning fee will secure my transition to the design phase.
Design
During the design stage you can relax, and I do the work. We will start off the process with a more detailed conversation which will take place in person, on the phone, or via video. Then I will use my extensive network of travel contacts at both Largay and Virtuoso to determine the ideal options for your vacation. Using all these connections, I’ll draft a proposal that caters to your every whim. Will it be a stunning safari in Africa with all the perks? Or will it be a bespoke itinerary that is an action packed adventure from the minute you leave home? Either way I will recommend activities and sites that will make this trip extra special.
And all these wonderful options will be personally presented to you in your initial itinerary for your consideration. We work hand-in-hand to develop an itinerary, perfectly tailored for you. We will refine this itinerary until it meets your expectations. Once the travel options are right for you, details are verified, checked and re-checked so you don’t have to.
Reserve
Once your crafted itinerary is perfect, you can sit back and relax because I’ll handle all the booking details on your behalf. I’ll remain engaged with you and our partners once your booking is finalized. If you are using one of our preferred partners, we will be in contact with them to make sure that you will receive your special benefits and VIP treatment. Your travel itinerary and documents will be provided to you via a mobile app and you will have web access to your trip details and any documents from your travel suppliers.
Experience
While you’re exploring, and having a great trip, I will be traveling with you behind the scenes. I’ll be connecting with colleagues at your destination and if there are any problems or changes that you would like, we will take care of it for you. I will be available throughout your trip to smooth out any bumps and finding ways to make the trip special.

Welcome home! After you return from your trip, I can’t wait to hear all about it! You should expect a call from me within a week of returning. While it’s fresh in your mind, let’s relive the experience – your favorite parts, your favorite meal, and if anything could have been done differently. This is one of my favorite steps of the process, because I get to live vicariously through your amazing stories! We can also discuss where you want to go next and how I can make it magical for you?
